The Aitkin County Chapter of Pheasants Forever signed their charter in October of 2005. We are proud to be a part of the most efficient conservation organization in the country because Pheasants Forever's unique chapter structure allows all decisions on how dollars are utilized to stay with the chapter.
Our chapter stands primarily behind youth conservation education, pheasant habitat, and legislative action protecting our hunting rights and lands.
Recently our dollars have gone to:
- Donation to the Land Acquisition Fund of Pheasants Forever.
- Donation to the PAC fund.
- Donation to the Gun Lake Sharptail Grouse Lek area to help purchase and save.
- Donated to Dollars for Scholars (Jace Hagman recipient of $500 scholarship)
- May 2nd Clean up at a Wildlife Management Area near Aitkin (dumping fee donated by Garrison Disposal).
- Booth at the Aitkin County Fair
- Hosted a Youth Day
